Super Falcons beat Senegal to qualify for Nations Cup



Nigeria’s Super Falcons are through to the 10th Africa Women’s Cup of Nations billed to take place in Cameroon after they beat their Senegalese counterparts 2-0 in Abuja on Tuesday. The reigning African Queens sealed their place in Cameroon 2016 with a 3-1 aggregate score line having played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg. Though Asisat Oshoala blew away a first half penalty, the Falcons through Rita Chikwelu in the 36th minute and then Osarenoma Igbinovia in the 46thminute marched on to victory to confirm their superiority over their Wes African opponents.
